Sample Shipping Requirements
1. Documentation
Complete the "Long-read Sequencing Sample Information Form" prior to shipment, specifying the submitting unit, sample names, quantities, and requested projects. Ensure all physical samples strictly match the details provided on the form.
2. Packaging & Shipping Standards
(1) Sealing: Verify that tube caps are tight and labels are dry. Secure caps with sealing film (e.g., Parafilm) to prevent leakage.
(2) Verification: Ensure consistency between the form and samples. If sending multiple aliquots of the same sample, explicitly state if they may be pooled; otherwise, they will be mixed by default.
(3) Inner Packaging: Place samples and the completed form into a zip-lock bag or cryo-box. Cushion this container with bubble wrap or a foam insert and secure it.
(4) Temperature Control:
Blood & Buccal Swabs: Ship in a foam box with ice packs .
gDNA, Tissue & Cells: Ship on dry ice.
(5) Finalizing Shipment: Seal the foam box thoroughly with tape and affix the shipping label. Total transit time should not exceed 3 days.
(6) Coordination: If arranging delivery independently, please contact our sales team immediately to coordinate the shipment details.
